Alterations:
In my dress I was 5'3" (including heels) and had the bottom hemmed to this length. The waist was also taken in by 1 or 2 inches (I am approx.120lbs and wear a 36C bra size). The dress is an elegant and timeless organza dress. I had the original net overlay of the dress removed (to fully showcase the beautiful fern embroidery on the bodice in photos). I had a bustle made for the dress which basically includes buttons and thread loops to hook on the buttons.
The dress was worn approx 6 hours for my ceremony and part of my reception just a few months ago (May 2012). I have hung it up in a garment bag, but have not much more preserving than this.
