Description and details
Gorgeous cris- cross halter style silk sheath dress. Unique, very light and modern. Extremely lightweight and very comfortable. Great for a destination wedding or an elegant affair. Open low back , with tull draping to the bottom of the dress creating a beautiful sweep train.
I purchased this dress from the Vera Wang store in Toronto only it was a floor sample. It is a sheath cut dress, made of silk with a delicate flower pattern at the bottom of the dress. Beautiful low cut v-neck back. You can add a broach in the middle to create a more dramatic look. Dress falls very nicely and easy to move in when worn.
This dress is in great condition. There is a tiny stain hidden near the zipper on the back of the dress (this is easily removed when cleaned). As a sample, the dress may have been tried on previously, but it has never been worn for a wedding. It does need to be cleaned due to it being a sample dress, otherwise in perfect condition.
This was part of Vera Wang's Spring 2006 Luxe Collection.The dress retailed for $4790 when it first came out.
Dress is 100% Silk, Lining is 100% Silk and tulle is 100% polyester
As much as I love this dress, I fell into the "two dress bride" trap. I ended up getting another dress a few days ago as it suits the tone of my wedding more. This is a beautiful dress and I hate to not be able to wear it but hope someone else will love it and will be able to wear it on their wedding day.
