Alterations:Had top of straps taken in a bit and side seam let out about 3/4". Had dress hemmed,bustle put in, and bracups. I am 5'8" and wore 3" heels. Fits measurements of 34/29/38.

I had an image of Carolyn Bisset Kennedy's dress when she married JFK Jr. when I was picking out my dress: simple, elegant, and classic, and above all, UNIQUE. I didn't want to go strapless as so many brides do, as it doesn't always look that great on everyone, but that's what they show in the bridal shops mostly. This dress was perfect, shimmering, lightweight, had gorgeous beading detail just at the waist, and the cut at the neckline and especially the back neckline was exquisite and reminded me of a Hollywood starlet. My guests commented that it was the most stunning dress they had ever seen and I felt like a perfect bride.
Just worn at in Dec.2008 at wedding and Jan.09 for reception. I also have crystal haircomb, shoes, and vintage purse for separate sale if interested.
