1 inch up on the hem and 1/2 inch shortened on shoulders. Bra cups have been sewn in so no bra or corset is required. But they can also be easily removed. French bustle loop in the lining.
Description and details
Paloma Blanca V-Neck, A-Line gown in natural (off-white) silk. The dress is a 'wedding size 12' which is actually a size 8 in regular clothing. I am 5'5" and wore very high heels so this dress can probably be worn by someone as tall as 5'8". It was only hemmed up 1 inch. The body was not taken in, only a slight bit at the shoulders. The design of the dress would make it easily altered down a few sizes. This is an incredibly flattering dress which creates the allusion of a larger chest and slimming in the middle. The train is about 2 feet long but can be removed or bustled. It has beautiful French inspired button detail all down the back of the gown and a sash with broach (which can easily be removed). I also have a matching veil for $100. It will need to be re-attached to a comb or clip. Dress has been professionally cleaned and boxed but does still have a few blemishes around the hem. This dress is in Paloma Blanca's current collection. Check out their website and search for Style No. 3659. I special ordered the dress from (and had it altered at) Dormel Bridal in Oakville. I paid $1500 plus alterations, plus extra for the veil.
