Alterations:
I had two alterations done on this dress. The first was bustle loops, which a seamstress can easily remove or change. In making my mother happy I had removable sleeves added to the dress, they attach to the inside of the dress. So you can wear them for the ceremony and take them off for the reception, which is what I did, or not wear them at all. After my wedding I had the dress professionally cleaned, and now it looks brand new.
