Both the bust and hips were taken in, making the dress between a 12 and 14.
The dress was custom ordered to fit my height and the shoes I wore. I am 5'9" and my shoes were 2 inches high.
A bussle was also added.
Description and details
The color is ivory, both the lace and the underlay. The dress is strapless with a sweetheart neckline. It is described on the website as a-line, but it is more like a loose fitting mermaid style. It has an empire waist trimmed with ivory ribbon.
It was purchased at Felicity Bridal in Halifax in February/09 for $1500. It was worn once on June 27/09 and has since been dry-cleaned.
