Description and details

Features:

- Strapless wedding gown that does not fall down or shift
- Embroidered with flowers and crystal beads
- Very flattering A-line shape, forgiving & comfortable
- Medium length train

This dress was purchased by me in Feb 2009 from Ethos Bridal, in Calgary, AB, Canada. It retails for $1000. It is a very flattering dress that is easy to wear and forgiving of any flaws. It can give you an amazing hourglass figure on your wedding day! No tape required to keep this dress up - it fits like a glove. Matching spaghetti straps are included if you prefer.

The v-shaped cut of the bodice creates an hour-glass shape that is forgiving and comfortable. The bodice is embroidered with flowers and crystal beads, which gives it a non-trendy, vintage feel that will show well in photos for years to come. The full-length skirt has 3 layers - the first two layers of light organza are draped in an asymmetric style, with a beautiful flower accent. The resulting look is slimming, timeless, elegant and tasteful. Since the bodice has stays, whether or not you choose to wear a bra will depend on your body-type and the sort of silhouette you prefer (for my body-type, I wore a padded push-up bra to fill out the bodice. I usually wear a 34B bra size. Ladies that are better endowed could easily go without a bra.)

Although the dress is labeled as a size 2, it should fit up to a size 6. I normally wear a size 4 in street clothes, 27-29" in jeans depending on the designer. Since it is an A-line dress, the hip measurement is not crucial.

I have two white veils - will include 1 with dress purchase. 1) 2-layer elbow length veil with a scalloped edge, very sheer netting 2) 2-layer elbow length organza veil, spaghetti-thin hemmed edge - this one is a bit fuller than the first veil.
