After all, whether you choose custom or e-card, invitations show off your style and flair as a couple and set the tone for your special day.

Q. I'm having 150 guests for my wedding, how many invites do I need?
The general rule of thumb for the number of invitations is one per couple and per family. For 150 guests, I would suggest starting with half of your guest list (in this case 75). This represents everyone being a couple. From there, you can increase or decrease based on number of single vs. family invitations. Remember, it‘s always better to order a few more than you think you’ll need because a reprint can be very costly (you’ll likely be doing small numbers which can increase the cost per unit).

When ordering invitations, another thing you might want to think about is how to handle families. I’ve often see there be some confusion with who should get an invitation when you want to invite a family with grown children who no longer live at home (but don’t necessarily have partners). My suggestion is that if they live at a different address they should get their own invitation.
