While we can't prevent every wedding day mishap (watch the video below - and you'll have a whole new perspective on disaster weddings), we CAN help you prevent the little things that can sometimes derail your big day.
We've compiled a list of 20 MUST HAVE ITEMS that every bride needs close by on her wedding day!

Our list has plenty of practical items (read: boring, but necessary) and our favorite “MacGyver Bride” survival items, including every day products with alternative uses and miracle cures for wedding day ailments and possible disasters.
Top 10 Items Every PRACTICAL BRIDE Needs on her Wedding Day:
- Kleenex
- Lip stain rather than lipstick (it lasts longer between applications)
- Q-tips and eye-makeup remover for any precision mascara touch-ups required after ceremony or speeches.
- Lint Remover
- Safety pins
- Flats or flip flops for the end of the night

- Deodorant
- Bobby pins and mini hairspray
- Breath mints or strips (for you or someone else!)

- Wine Wipes: These gems discreetly remove red wine stains from your teeth and mouth. Now you can enjoy red wine without worrying about your smile in all those photos! (Your dress might be another story)
- Disposable Booties: These will protect your white shoes en route. No one wants pesky scuff marks on wedding shoes to stick out like a sore thumb against their dress! Pick up a pair of booties that furniture delivery men wear in your house so they don’t have to take their shoes off.
- Blister kit including Blister Treatment and Blister Block: You'll be able to dance the night away in your totally amazing wedding shoes. Enough said.
- Model Mirror: This LED compact mirror lets you touch up makeup in any lighting. Even MacGyver couldn’t do that for his lady friends.

Luckily the bride had some Wine Away, so the stain was gone in minutes, and the reception and first dance continued without further incident. I hope her father switched to white for the rest of the night!
