Wedding Advice: What are the upcoming trends in colour? Should I look to them or avoid them?
It all depends on whom you talk to. One thing is for certain: the trends of the wedding season change from city street to city street! Wedding trends come out in the luxurious fabrics, gorgeous wrapped favors, ribbon ties, sashes on dresses, and the tableware available locally to brides.

Across the board we're seeing greens and blues as continuing hot trends for the year with soft pinks, mauves and poppy reds as wonderful accents. As with every season, white marks a crisp and clean note to a beautiful celebration.
Does this mean that if you love bold bright orange you should avoid using it for your wedding? Or what if you love the tonal qualities of grey? Do colour trends need to be followed to the letter?
My advice? Go big or go home! If you absolutely adore bold bright orange – use it! Consider complimenting your colour choice with the favored trends of the season. For example, bold orange florals with deep rich plums and fresh greens. Or pale blues mixed with bright poppy red to celebrate with a childlike glee! Trends are just that… trends. For a wedding that stands the test of time and makes you fall in love all over again whenever you admire your photos… marry your true love and follow your heart when it comes to colour and design.
Happy Planning,
