Excellence Riviera Cancun
Truly a 5-star experience, you can't go wrong with the rooms at this resort (pictured above). We recommend looking at the slightly upgraded rooms which are an amazing value for your spend - you won't be disappointed.
The rooms include a sitting area, large marble shower, vanity with double sinks, a jacuzzi and a balcony/patio with an additional jacuzzi. Service from the staff is second to none, and you may wish to enjoy their Club Service to get access to the more private and quiet section of the resort for a very secluded honeymoon experience. Enjoy their beach beds, 8 restaurants (no reservations required), and excellent spa. You'll also love that the resort is a very short distance from the airport, and a breeze to checkin and get to the beach ASAP.

El Dorado Royale
Be prepared to spend most of your time on the beach. Between private cabanas, and candle-lit dinners, so there is really no reason to leave, unless it's to jet up to the spa for a Sky Massage. These massages come almost universally recommended by travelers. If you're interested in the spa, a good tip is to wait for the guys coming around to make you a deal, you'll save on their regular prices.
For an unforgettable honeymoon, try upgrading. One couple stayed in Villa 5104, with swim up access and loved the upgraded room including: jacuzzi looking out to the swim up pool, massive king sized bed, his and hers sink, large shower room, large wardrobe, large tv, hammock, and full mini bar.

The House, Barbados
This adult-only resort is smaller than most at only 34 rooms. A totally romantic getaway with 24 hour Ambassador Service means you and your new husband get to focus solely on each other - rather than hoping you can find a beach lounger for the day!

Couples San Souci
You won't find your typical all-inclusive with this Couples resort. The ambiance of the place is peaceful, secluded and relatively quiet, with beautiful clean and meticulous grounds and vegetation with waterfalls, beach and pools. The rooms have character and some actually have quite a history to them - adding to the uniqueness of the resort. Don't forget your proof of marriage, as there are many delightful freebies included with your stay like complimentary champagne and couples massages.
For a perfect candle-lit meal, make a reservation at the a la carte restaurant (check with the staff for the time that the sun goes down, or else you'll be sweating on the outdoor patio.) You should also note, there is a dress code for this restaurant, so it tends to be much quieter and private than the others. Don't forget proper shoes.
For breakfast, you may want to enjoy a lazy meal in bed. Simply choose your order and place the card on the outside of your door before 2 a.m. the night before. Choose the time it arrives carefully as delivery is rumored to be very prompt!
Also, try the smoothies at the mineral bar, and don't be shy asking for a flask of their amazing coffee to enjoy wherever you may be at the resort.

Four Seasons Paris, France
If it's not a beach you're looking for, you can't beat Paris for a romantic honeymoon. The Four Seasons hotel is ideally located. You're just a stroll from the River Seine or the Champs-Elysées and a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower.
This hotel is an oasis in the middle of the bustling city, but with perfect sound proofing, you would never know it.
