Today's tip is from Fancy Divas.
So he popped the question - Congratulations! Now what? Wedding dress, flowers, church, reception, cake topper, decorations, music, wedding colors, the list goes on and on. Although it sounds overwhelming, it can all be fairly easy once your wedding date is confirmed.

Many brides get caught up in excitement and forget to do the most important thing - pick a date. Picking "the date" is what drives your entire wedding. Choosing your date determines:
- what season you want to get married in
- the location of your wedding – indoors or outdoors, local or destination
- your flowers, colour scheme and theme
Weekday or Weekend?
You also need to decide which day of the week you want get married. If you choose a destination wedding you might not have much of an option. If you choose to get married in your home town you need to decide if you want a Saturday wedding, or if you want to save a bit of money by having it on a Sunday or weekday. Do religious observances, like Sabbaths mean that either Saturday or Sunday weddings aren't an option? If most of your wedding guests are in town and not traveling, you might also consider having a weekday wedding, when there will be discounts and more availability of premium locations and vendors.

Know the Holidays
Make sure to avoid certain dates. The last thing you want to do is have your wedding on Super Bowl Sunday, or on an important religious holiday. You want wedding guests to be happily present, not resentful or secretly listening to the big game. To help you out, here are some dates that your guest might prefer to be somewhere else: Christmas and New Year's, Thanksgiving, Superbowl weekend, World Series, Memorial Day weekend and Labour Day.
