Today's tip is from Blue Print Events.

There are so many fine details that go into wedding planning and coordination. We put a lot of time and effort into hand-picking the venue, guest list, dress and especially the photographer. I find that during the rush of wedding planning, there is often less effort put into planning where your photo session will be held.

I believe a couple should choose a special place that provides a unique insight into their shared story. Sure, it's easy to get your photos done either outside the church or at the venue. Indeed, most of these places are equipped with a little patch of grass, or some stonework that provides space for these photos. While it may save time to have the family formals done on site, I feel it is worthwhile to put a little extra effort into finding a location for just the two of you.

When considering where to spend those couple of hours capturing your excitement, try to think of a place in which you both feel comfortable. Look for a place you are familiar with, or a favorite spot to hang out in. This could be the place where you first met, had your first date or where he proposed. I really think that a comfortable setting will make you more comfortable in front of the camera.

Overall, when looking back at your photos, you will not only relive the feeling of that day, but you will know the place had meaning as well.
