One of the SmartBride team members is off to St. Maarten this week. Am I jealous? Maybe just a tad.
I just checked the weather, and it’s a balmy 35 degrees with humidity (almost 80 for those of you south of the border). Since I can’t go, I thought I’d pull together some destination wedding dresses, perfect for a sunny beach wedding. I know, it’s not the same as going down to balmy St. Maarten, but thinking about wearing these light and breezy dresses puts me in a beach state of mind.
AND, did I mention this one small detail? Every single one of these dress is $300 or less? Every. Single. One. That's AMAZING!
Be a sun goddess with this size 6 J. Crew Goddess wedding dress. Originally $325, never worn and now $200.

Pop singer Lily Allen, was married on Jun 11, 2011 in a pretty outdoor garden ceremony. Lily Allen's wedding dress was like many other recent celebrity weddings we've seen of late – covered in lace. Her pretty white gown was by French designer Delphine Manivet. It had long 3/4 lace sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a slight mermaid silhouette. And what a unique veil! LOVE!

If you like Lily Allen's style and want to mimic it for your day, look for all over lace wedding dresses, and don’t give up hope if you can find a dress with lace sleeves. There are plenty of lace boleros you can purchase off sites like etsy to complement your dress!
Here are our top picks to get a similar look to Lily Allen’s wedding dress for less, from $200 to $1500.

Zara Philips, the Queen's granddaughter and 13th in line to the throne, married rugby player Mike Tindall in Scotland on July 30, 2011 in a low key and relaxed affair.

The most defining feature about Zara Phillips' wedding dress was the small cap sleeves. These served to soften her broad shoulders, before flowing into a full skirt. The ivory silk faille and silk duchess satin gown was designed by Stewart Parvin, couturier to the Queen.
If you've been looking for a dress with cap sleeves, we've selected our favorite wedding dresses with cap sleeves available on SmartBride Boutique. Whether you're looking for all over lace, or a ballgown or mermaid skirt, we've got tons of options - all less than $1000!

Love it or loathe it, Bachelorette Ashley Herbert’s $16,000 final rose dress had everyone talking. The Randi Rahm dress was covered in hand stitched silver and crystal beads and silver sequins, while the bottom was covered with blush-colored ostrich feathers.
Although we didn't much care for the neckline, we did love how the party started at the bottom of the dress.

If a fun and flirty bottom is what you want in your wedding dress, we've pulled a host of options all available for less on SmartBride Boutique.
