Smart Skin Care Tips for Your Wedding
With all of the planning, parties, and mayhem leading up to the Big Day, it's no wonder a number of brides forget about one of the most important things to looking their best....THEIR SKIN!!

BeautyMarkz have come up with some great tips and tricks to have your skin glowing for your walk down the aisle, and beyond....
Products
Cleanse, Tone, and Moisturize twice a day with products designed for your specific skin type (i.e. Dry, Normal-Combo, Oily). If you’re having trouble designating your skin type, ask your dermatologist or skin care professional. For added luminosity and “soft to the touch” skin, exfoliate twice a week to remove any dead skin cells and keep your skin renewed.
TIP: When looking for a great exfoliant, look for a scrub with soft round granuals, because they are gentler on the skin. Try Vichy Detoxifying Exfoliating Cream.

Dehydration
Dehydration is a common skin problem for most women. With all of the running around you’re likely doing leading up to your wedding, try to drink at least 1 litre of water a day to ensure your skin and body are super hydrated. Hydration also helps to give your appearance that natural glow – something every bride wants. For a refreshing treat on a scorching summer day, refrigerate a hydrating mask and apply on skin. This will instantly replenish and awaken parched skin.
TIP: When looking for a hydrating mask, look for one that is gel based. This texture is best for most skin types and is much easier to remove than other formulas. Try Biotherm Hydra-Detox Bio-Defensis.

Suncreen
The most important and widely overlooked step to youthful glowing skin is applying a sunscreen every day. No matter what your skin type, color, or texture this is one essential you cannot go without!
TIP: When looking for a face sunscreen, look for beauty products with added SPF so application is a breeze. Remember to re-apply liberally throughout the day to keep your skin crease free! Try Stila Sheer Colour Spf 15 Face Powder.

Timing
Finally, when scheduling all of your bridal beauty appointments, keep in mind the following timelines:
- book your facials 2 months prior to your wedding,
- book all other services, like waxing or threading, 5 days before your wedding.
Following these timelines will give your skin enough time to return to its normal state and also alleviate any skin surprises that might pop up.
Great skin is something everyone can possess. By finding the correct products and using them accordingly, you can find yourself with a flawless face that’s picture perfect. Remember, beautiful skin not only makes you look and feel better, it is also an excellent canvas for makeup application, resulting in an even more beautiful you!
