Princess for a Day Royal Wedding Contest - And the winner is...
In honour of the Royal Wedding today between Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton, we will announce the winner of the SmartBrideBoutique.com Princess For A Day wedding contest worth over $13,000.
So without further ado, the winner of our Princess for a Day contest is........

Princess for a Day Contest Winners: Andrea and Adam
When we called Andrea this morning she was ecstatic - definitely one of the best phone calls we've made in a while! We asked Andrea and her fiance Adam, who are getting married May 19, 2012 in London, Ontario, a few questions about their own big day, and what winning the contest means to them:

Engagement at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle - how perfect?
Tell us about the proposal!
The proposal was amazing. We were on vacation in Disney World (because I'm a princess at heart!:)) On our last day, we managed to get in to have lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle. The waiter brought us dessert, and Adam asked him to take a couple pictures of us. I turned around to find Adam so we could pose for pictures, and he was down on one knee with the ring. It was so unexpected, and definitely the highlight of my life so far!!
What is your vision/theme for your wedding?
Our theme for the wedding is a spring celebration of love/ fairytale romance. This is because of Adam's proposal at Disney, which is a place we have both always loved. And obviously now because of the Princess for a Day contest!!! Our colours are purple and yellow, with silver accents and sparkles.

Princess for a Day Contest Winners: She said Yes! (Love the mouse ears - wedding style!)
What does it mean to you to have won the Princess for a Day contest?
This prize package will make our planning a dream come true. Because we're planning from Thunder Bay while the wedding is in London, this package is going to make it so much easier for us to make decisions. The distance makes planning much more complicated, so some of the elements in the sweepstakes package will mean we can coordinate plans much more easily and with less stress, to make our dream wedding a reality.
Also, because Adam is a pilot and I work in television news, it's sometimes hard to make our schedules work together. This means we'll have to spend less time on planning, and have more time to enjoy each other's company.
How will winning this contest change any wedding plans you already have in place?
We're still in the early stages of planning, so winning this contest means we're free to inject our personality into our wedding a little more. For example, I've always dreamed of having a horse and carriage for the wedding, so the money we save because of the package means that might be able to happen.
Also, because my bridesmaids will all be having to travel for the wedding, I'm really excited that I'm able to have their dresses taken care of! It's something I wanted to do but wasn't able to afford, so I'm glad I can give a little something back to them for being so good to me.
Lastly, it means we'll be able to take a real honeymoon. We weren't really sure what we were going to do before, but now we're free to explore our options a little more.
Congratulations again to Andrea and Adam!
