Photographer's Tips:

Embrace your winter wedding! Buy the beautiful fur you've always wanted, but never had a reason to buy. Make it feel magical with decorations, party favors, music, and food and give you and your guests that warm happy feeling of a winter day sitting by the fire watching the snowflakes fall outside.

Photographer's Final Thoughts:

"Other than the red, runny noses, and running in and out of cars and coats, we had fun and some great memories!"

More about Skye of Skye D Photography:

I think I was born with a camera in my hand. From the time I can remember, I was either pretending to take pictures, looking at pictures, taking pictures, or being photographed. My father was a freelance photographer and tortured us weekly with testing out new techniques or equipment. I still have albums from when I was in 1st grade and took pictures of everything; bugs, dirt, my cats, my sister making ugly faces.

When I was 12 I got my first "serious" camera and Dad started teaching me about composition and lighting. My desire to focus on wedding photography came after my wedding. I had a wonderful photographer who knew exactly what I wanted and she delivered! I had numerous friends who did not have the same wonderful experience with their photographer and are embarrassed to show their wedding album. I want to put an end to that. No fake backdrops. No straight lines. No fake smiles. My goal is to capture the mood, the emotion, the uniqueness of your day, so that when you look at your album, you can relive it all.
