Friday Fitness: Motivation with a Vision

Happy Friday ladies!


I think by now you ladies know that I’m a firm believer in motivation being a key tool to success.
(Did you read my post on M.E.N. a few weeks ago?)


Sammie was motiviated and participated in a fitness competition


Visualizing your goal is a great motivator and I’m sure you’ve already dreamed up how you’d like to look in your gown! By picturing yourself (in your mind) having already accomplished your goal you will increase your chances of actually completing it successfully!


One visualization tool that I like to use is a vision board. Now that I’m preparing to compete in fitness modelling again, creating a vision board has been a positive experience for me. The photo (above) is one from my past days as a fitness model and I've included this image on my vision board. I've filled my vision board with other inspirational photos, and present tense words and phrases (i.e. “I have a sexy booty”).


Once my board is complete I post it in a place where I see it constantly. I’ve even heard that some of our Booty Camp Fitness recruits keep it as a background on their computers and phones!
