Carrie Underwood's Wedding Dress
I don't know about you, but we think there's been a lot of talk about Carrie Underwood's engagement to Senator Mike Fisher, and of course, the ever pressing question of "what kind of wedding dress will she wear?" One online article had this to say:
"Ideally, her wedding gown will reflect Underwood’s best qualities. So, something down-home but a tad regal too. Maybe a one-shoulder design — glamorous, yet middle-of-the-road. Then again, it's possible she'll go for something frothy and fun, typifying her body-conscious generation."
How's that for decisive?
We have taken it upon ourselves to search through the hundreds of dresses on SmartBrideBoutique.com and come up with our own ideas on what kind of wedding gown Carrie Underwood might choose! If you want to emulate Carrie's style but don't want the designer price tags that come along with it, all of the options we’re featuring are under $1300.
Generally, it seems as though Carrie’s style is pretty classic and conservative. She tends to favour dresses that aren’t skin tight, but rather show off her silhouette in a sophisticated way. At the Grammy’s this year she looked great in a white off the shoulder Grecian style dress. Based on that, we think that Maggie Sottero and Pronovias wedding dress styles would suit her best, especially the Pronovias 59815 or Diamante, or the Maggie Sottero RD1044.
Of course, if she decides to go all out for her big day and wants to look and feel like a princess, we could definitely see her in a classic wedding silhouette, with a full skirt and just a touch of drama. Our favourites for this look are this Pronovias Melbourne and the Maggie Sottero Fiorella. The Fiorella also has the off the shoulder look she seems to be fond of.
Now all we have to do is wait for the pictures from her wedding to see if our predictions were close!
