Carrie Underwood's Dream Wedding Dress
Standing in the line at the groceries the other day, we finally saw it: pictures of Carrie Underwood's wedding dress in the current issue of People magazine. All last week we've been reading about the Monique Lhuillier chantilly lace creation, but had yet to lay eyes on the dress itself. Instead, we filled our time speculating on the style of wedding dress she would choose - check out our predictions to see if we were close!
Carrie ended up choosing was a romantic and dreamy creation, with bustier style top and a skirt with hundreds of tiered layers.
To our eye, Carrie's wedding dress is a little bit princess, a little bit fanciful and a whole lot of drama - did you see the skirt? If you covet Carrie's dress, but don't quite have Carrie's budget, we've pulled together some amazing budget friendly options.
Demetrios Wedding Dress: $600
If it's the bodice of Carrie's dress that you really love, this size 8 Demetrios wedding dress is the closest match. Simply tie a beautiful ribbon in the colour of choice around your waist and voila, you've got a celebrity wedding look.

Alfred Angelo 2117 Wedding Dress: $700
Love the tiers but don't want the princess look? Check out this size 8 Alfred Angelo wedding dress. With a fitted mermaid silhouette you can show off your curves and put your own spin on Carrie's tiered skirt.

J Crew Wedding Dress: $899
We think this J Crew cascade tulle wedding gown in a simplified (and less lacey) take on Carrie's dress, and at only $899, we're sure it's a far cry from the price Carrie paid!

Pronovias Pascua Wedding Dress: $1245
This Pronovias Pascua wedding dress features a full skirt with tons of texture and layers, plus a sash just below the bust - both of these elements are similar in style to Carries' Monique Lhuillier creation.

Gabriella Arango Wedding Dress: $4500 & Pronovias Wedding Dress: $2000
Although this size 6 Gabriella Arango wedding dress and size 8 Pronovias wedding dress both lack the lace accents, the full tiered skirt definitely captures the princess feeling of Carrie's dress.
